Competition worry takes buses saga to next stage
The sale of Eastbourne Buses and Cavendish to Stagecoach earlier this year has run into more controversy as the Office of Fair Trading announced it is to refer the matter to the Competition Commission.
The national operator acquired council-owned bus operator Eastbourne Buses in December and within weeks had also purchased local independent Cavendish Motor Services....
