Passengers believe train services are worse since the Department for Transport awarded a franchise to London Midland, an inquiry has warned.
The operator, which runs local services in the West Midlands and a route from London to Birmingham and Liverpool, was awarded the franchise in 2007.
But a survey found that passengers believed trains were less punctual and reliable, and were unhappy about changes to car parking arrangements at stations...
