Latest figures show that over 4,000 journeys have already been made or have been booked for travel to and from the new East Midlands Parkway railway station (pictured) since its opening last week, East Midlands Trains has announced.
The station is situated just one mile from Junction 24 of the M1 to encourage people to move out of their car and onto the train. More than 100 East Midlands Trains services call at the station every day, with trains to and from London every 15-20 minutes at peak...
