Optare wins orders from London General

Blackburn-based bus manufacturer Optare, which now also encompasses the former Darwen Group business, has announced that its has won orders for 94 buses from Go Ahead’s London General subsidiary. The £14.25m order calls for 54 double deck and 40 single deck buses with the first deliveries scheduled during the fourth quarter of this year.
