Scottish Citylink and West Coast Motors have signed a new deal which will see the Campbeltown-based independent resume operations as a Citylink contractor on services linking Glasgow with Argyll from the end of September.
West Coast had begun its own competing services against Citylink earlier this year after the two sides failed to reach an agreement on commercial terms (Transit May 23). The move ended a long-standing commercial partnership that dated back over 20 years.
