Motorists in Northamptonshire have been targeted for speeding offences as part of the week-long National Road Safety Week campaign. The aim of the campaign is to reduce drivers speeding near homes, school and shops.
The theme of the campaign, which ran from 19 to 25 November, was “slower speeds = happy people”. Police worked with partner agencies to increase enforcement operations, talking about road safety and carrying out parking patrols near schools.
