The tragic death of a 5-year-old boy on a busy road in Elephant & Castle, south London, has thrown into sharp relief concerns about road safety outside schools. Hichame Bouadimi was knocked down by a lorry on the crossing outside his school while on his way home with his mother on 3 October.
