App checks if taxis are licensed

An app from Harlow District Council that confirms if a taxi is fully licensed has been used by 950 residents since its launch in the summer according to the authority. The system, called Taxi Check Live!, can be downloaded via a smartphone by scanning a QR code or by typing ‘www.harlow.gov.uk/tcl’ into the phone’s internet browser.
