Congestion charge exemptions to change

 

Proposed changes to London’s congestion charge would see a number of vehicle types currently exempt having to pay the charge. Transport for London (TfL) is seeking the views of Londoners views in a consultation on a number of proposed changes to the congestion charging scheme.

The proposed changes include the introduction of a new Ultra Low Emission Discount (ULED), an increase in the penalty charge from £120 to £130 and removing the option to pay the charge in shops and petrol stations.
