Many bailiff companies are desperately attempting to stay afloat as they await the arrival of the long anticipated simplified fee structure as proposed by the Tribunals, Court and Enforcement Act.

It is no mystery why bailiff firms are facing severely reduced margins. Statutory fees were last reviewed in 2003. But since then the Retail Price Index has increased by 31.6% and since 2006 fuel has gone up 49%!
