Bristol council has approved the city-wide roll-out of 20mph signed-only speed limits to cover 90% of the city’s road network.
The council is to spend £2.3m on the programme, which will be delivered in six phases. The lower limit will be implemented on all unclassified and C class roads while a case will have to be made to retain higher limits on A and B roads.
