Leicester taps into Nottingham bus lane system

Leicester has found an efficient way of bringing in bus lane enforcement by turning to neighbouring authority Nottingham, writes Deniz Huseyin

Bus lane offenders are being tackled in Leicester thanks to a new partnership with Nottingham City Council. This involves Leicester’s bus gates being enforced by its neighbouring council. Contraventions captured by Zenco’s LaneWatch unattended cameras are sent to Nottingham’s back office where they are processed and penalty charge notices (PCNs) sent out.
