Kent cameras catch over 23,000 speeding motorists

Figures showing the number of motorists caught by all speed cameras in Kent are now available online.

Some 23,787 drivers were issued with fixed penalty notices (FPNs) across Kent and Medway in 2010, according to the Kent and Medway Safety Camera Partnership (KMSCP).

Its website also shows crash and casualty rates and speeds at each of the fixed sites before and after the cameras were installed. Current casualty figures from KMSCP show that there has been a 74% drop in the number of people...
