Speed cameras linked to falling road casualties

The number of people killed or seriously injured in road accidents has more than halved since fixed speed cameras were installed in Warwickshire in 2001, according to data published by Warwickshire County Council and Warwickshire Police.

The information includes the number of collisions and casualties at each of the 36 fixed camera sites throughout the county. It also reports traffic speeds and the number of offences detected by each camera.
