Website calls on public to capture motoring offences

An ex-police chief is encouraging so called “visualantes” to capture acts of dangerous driving on video via their mobile phones and then report the incidents via the website www.policewitness.com. The reports are then forwarded to specific contacts within each police force for consideration to prosecute.
