LEZ standards extend to more vehicles


 

New tougher low emission zone (LEZ) standards for London come into force in January 2012. Transport for London (TfL) said that about 150,000 vehicles would be affected by the new standard.

Owners and operators of 75,000 HGVs, buses and coaches and 72,000 larger vans and minibuses will need to upgrade their vehicles to ensure they meet the new LEZ standards, which come into operation on 3 January.
