Stretches of the A63 dual carriageway in Leeds were left unlit for several days due to thieves stealing street lighting cable. A section of the link road running from junction 45 of the M1 to the city centre almost 2km (1.2m) has been targeted over the past four weeks, with more than £200,000 of street lighting cable being stolen.
