The proposed ban on clamping and removals on private land poses a challenge for landowners and parking operators alike


 

When a car is left without permission on private land, or overstays its allotted time in a public car park, it has been common for the site management to immobilise the offending vehicle with a wheel clamp or even removed it to a pound.
