Besides daily and season parking fees, there are several ways in which car parks can generate revenue. Some multi-storeys feature retail spaces, while car washing and valeting is becoming a common service which can generate a rental income for the landowner or site operator.

An obvious way to make money is to install advertising hoardings on the outside of a multi-storey car park.
