Jamie Waller, chief executive of JBW Group, has visited No 10 Downing Street at the invitation of Steve Hilton, senior adviser to the prime minister. This was a result of Waller’s mentoring work undertaken as part of David Cameron’s “Start Up Britain” programme.

The meeting discussed how the government could encourage more people to set up their own businesses, what form of support should be offered and how the next budget could aid this.
