In a bid to make savings and ensure consistency, the 12 districts in Essex have merged their parking operations

Parking operations across Essex were on the brink of being outsourced earlier this year. With deficits rising, Essex County Council demanded drastic action. Districts were given a choice: either team up and make savings or a contractor would be brought in to run a county-wide operation.
