A car seized from metal thieves in Wisbech, Cambridgeshire, has been crushed on orders of the local magistrate’s court. The Ford Fiesta was seized on 1 April after it was found to contain vehicle parts stolen from a yard in the village of Wisbech St Mary.
Two men had been spotted acting suspiciously in the yard before making off in the car. Several items, including a motorbike frame and mudguards, fell from the vehicle before Crime Action Team officers halted it.
