‘Vulnerable debtors need protection’

An enforceable procedure should be introduced that requires bailiffs to return cases involving vulnerable debtors to the courts or creditors, according to the charity Z2K Trust. The charity focuses on individual cases where vulnerable debtors are faced with “harsh enforcement” of council tax, rent, fines and tax credit overpayments.
