Wirral CEOs set for lollipop role

Wirral Borough Council is considering a proposal to use civil enforcement officers (CEOs) as school crossing patrol lollipop men and women under a new contract being negotiated by the council.

Currently NSL Services supplies parking enforcement across the borough, and is set to retain the contract.

NSL was first awarded the contract in 2003 for five years, with an option to extend it for two years. The new contract would again be for five years with the option of two more years.
