Anyone working in the private parking sector will have kept a keen eye on the progress of the Parking (Code of Practice) Act over the last 18 months. In March, this process to pass fresh legislation for the sector was concluded. Yet the real work is set to begin over the summer as the Ministry for Housing, Communities and Local Government (MHCLG) drafts the new code and runs a public consultation on the output.
