Polls suggests that the Green Party and Reform UK could make significant gains in the capital. Labour has full control of more than half the councils in London, winning 21 of the 32 boroughs in the 2022 elections. 

The capital has typically seen one-party dominance in its boroughs, but several councils might fall under no overall control this time, predicts the Local Government Information Unit (LGIU).
