Milton Keynes parking officers will be safer working in groups

Parking patrol officers in Milton Keynes are to patrol in groups because of threatening behaviour.

Milton Keynes City Council said staff issuing penalty tickets in Bletchley were faced with abuse, threats, intimidation and physical abuse from drivers.

The council said: “Civil enforcement officers now have to often work to in groups for safety reasons.”
