A proposal to provide a car park for people hiking on a fell in the Lake District have been rejected.
The Lingholm Private Trust wants to build a 150-car facility at Ullock Moss in Portinscale, near Keswick. The car park would have been for day-trippers who would then be taken by shuttle bus to Catbells.
