RAW Charging is driving forward the expansion of EV infrastructure at heritage destinations through its contract with the National Trust.

Provide visitors with EV charging is part of the National Trust’s broader green agenda, which aims to reduce its carbon footprint and enhance the visitor experience.

Since signing the exclusive agreement with the National Trust in 2023, RAW has  delivered more than 160 EV charging bays across the UK.

RAW has installed fast charging bays at National Trust properties including: Biddulph Grange Garden, Petworth House, Dunham Massey, Packwood, Kingston Lacey, Corfe Castle, Uppark and Batemans.

One of the largest sites installed to date is Dunham Massey in Altrincham, where 12 new fast charging bays have been installed for visitors to the house, gardens and ancient deer park.

Looking ahead, RAW will roll-out additional fast charging bays at sites including: Lacock Abbey, Felbrigg Hall, Croome Court, Hidcote and Castle Drogo.

All the sites offer bays that are fully accessible.

Jason Simpson, CEO of RAW Charging, said: “We’re proud to support the National Trust in delivering sustainable and accessible charging across its portfolio. Demand for EV infrastructure at heritage and leisure destinations is growing rapidly, and this partnership allows us to make low emission travel a practical choice for millions of visitors each year.”
