Soutionlabs' founder Duane Hodges-Stubbs passes away

Duane Hodges-Stubbs, a leading parking technologist and entrepreneur, has passed away after a short illness.

Hodges-Stubbs was the founder of IT company Solutionlabs, which developed and connected various parking innovations, such as online notice management, location data analysis, and cashless payment solutions. Its products include systems such as PayMyPCN and GoANPR. He also founded Tap2Park, a no-app or account required payment solution that aims to enhance the parking experience for both operators and users.

Before forming Solutionlabs in 2014, he spent six years as head of IT at civil enforcement company Roxburgh (UK).

Writing about his career on LinkedIn, Hodges-Stubbs said: “I am passionate about solving complex business problems with reliable and empathetic products that leverage my expertise in web applications and databases. I aim to make parking seamless and bring easy-to-use and fast payment solutions to motorists, while providing valuable insights and efficiencies to parking operators.”

Solutionlabs issued the following tribute: “It is with great sadness that we share the passing of our founder and director, Duane Hodges-Stubbs. Duane was the heart of our company. His vision, kindness, and integrity, shaped who we are today, and inspired everyone who had the privilege of working with him. Those who knew him personally, will remember his warmth, generosity, vision and entrepreneurial spirit.
