Welsh guidance addresses concerns on cycle tracks at bus stops

The Welsh Government is consulting on its 2026 active travel guidance update, including proposed amendments to guidance on cycle tracks at bus stops.

The original guidance, following the Active Travel (Wales) Act 2013, was updated in 2021. Next year’s revision “strengthens accessibility and inclusion, consolidates new evidence and professional practice, and resolves inconsistencies in the 2021 edition,” says the Government.
