Kensington & Chelsea Council has seized over 1,000 badly parked rental electric hire bikes so far this year. Providers Lime, Forest, Bolt and Voi have, to date, been  charged a total of more than £81,000 by the London borough for their release.

The council said it has targeted dangerously parked rental e-bikes, placing them in storage. The enforcement operation began in January as a response to complaints  from residents reporting the bikes as trip hazards and highways...
