Electric vehicles will lose the 100% discount they receive when travelling through London's Congestion Charge zone when new tariffs are introduced in the New Year.

The Congestion Charge has been in place for over two decades and is credited with reducing traffic congestion in the capital. However, without changes, TfL has estimated that there could be more than 2,000 additional vehicles driving during operating hours in the zone on an average weekday.
