Plans for a new travel hub in Tyldesley have been approved in a move that will boost park & ride capacity in the town, helping more people to make journeys by public transport on the Bee Network.
The travel hub will create an extra 99 parking spaces, including electric vehicle (EV) charging stations and accessible spaces. It will be built on Astley Street, close to the Leigh Guided Busway, to meet the increased demand for the spaces at the existing park & ride site nearby.
