The Department for Transport and Ministry of Housing and Local Government have finally launched what they describe as “the first nationally agreed measure of connectivity covering the whole of England and Wales” for trial use by local transport and planning authorities.
The Connectivity Tool has been under development within DfT for more than a decade , but only very slowly put into the public domain.(LTT 883). The free tool is not yet availble to consultants and private developers....
