GRIDSERVE calls for reform of VAT rates on EV charging

Half of non-EV drivers would go electric sooner if public charging had the same 5% VAT as home charging

Half (49%) of non-EV drivers in the UK say they would switch to electric vehicles sooner if public charging carried the same VAT rate as charging at home, according to research by on-the-go EV charging provider GRIDSERVE.
