A new rail hub would speed up vital housing projects in the Midlands, according to a new report by Midlands Connect.
The regional transport body has prepared a submission seeking to secure government funding. It says the Midlands Rail Hub project would result in up to 300 additional trains and 20 million extra seats on the rail network per day into or out of Birmingham.
