The new Buses Bill will enable all local leaders in England to take control of bus services and end the current “postcode lottery”, Transport Secretary Louise Haigh has announced.

The DfT plans to bring forward the Bill later in this parliamentary session to deliver changes to further support franchising, alongside measures on funding and accessible travel.
