The entrepreneur owners of expanding Scottish private bus company McGills, James and Sandy Easdale, have stepped up their opposition to the Strathclyde transport authority’s plans for bus franchising in and around the Glasgow City Region, where they have significant operations.
The Easdale brothers say that they are “at war” with Strathclyde Partnership for Transport (SPT) and the Scottish Government over the proposals.
