Transforming the way in which goods move around cities would make a significant impact on cutting carbon emissions, says a new study from the Clean Cities campaign.

Urban freight currently makes up around 25% of all carbon emissions from road transport in cities (see graph), and has been increasing in recent years as more people shop online, and population and economic growth continue.
