Brighton to install 120 new EV chargepoints

Brighton already provides over 350 public chargers

 

Brighton & Hove City Council is expanding the number of electric vehicle (EV) charging points it provides.

The coastal resort is adding 100 new lamppost charging points and 20 new fast chargers. This will take the total number of chargepoints in the city close to 500.

The roll-out will begin in March, starting with lamppost chargers. Fast chargers will follow in late spring/early summer, subject to Traffic Regulation Order (TRO) consultations.
