Bristol car park could be replaced by student flats

Plans have been submitted for the redevelopment of a multi-storey car park in Bristol.

Development company Downing, which bought the Nelson Street car park in November, has submitted proposals to demolish the structure and replace it with student accommodation.

The car park would be replaced by a 20-storey building with 565 student beds under the plans.
