Oxford Street plans given go ahead by residents, visitors and businesses

Local people, businesses and visitors have given their approval to the upgrade of Oxford Street

Two-thirds of respondents to a consultation on the scheme agreed to the proposals. The Oxford Street project will include creating wider footways, improved seating, more trees and planting, new lighting and clearer signage.
