Dudley promotes electric vehicle residential chargepoints

Dudley Council is installing chargepoints to support local people who wish to own an electric vehicle but do not have their own drive, or other access to off-street charging facilities.

The chargepoints charge at 7kW. For many cars this will provide a full charge in roughly six hours, making them ideal for overnight charging for residents.

Locations have been identified based on a set of criteria, which include:

near residential properties with no off-street parking

sufficient local power/grid...
