Newham Council in East London has retained Park Mark awards for six car parks recently reassessed by the Metropolitan Police and the British Parking Association.
The parking facilities at Shaftesbury Road, Madge Hill, Queens Market, Will Thorne Pavilion, Stratford Old Town Hall and the Stratford multi-storey car park have measures in place that actively deter crime and the fear of crime.
