East Sussex to build new transport planning team

East Sussex County Council is building its Major Projects and Growth Team and Infrastructure Planning and Place Team with seven new senior transport-related posts. Those appointed will manage the council's economic growth strategy and deliver major transport and infrastructure improvements across the county, as well as  helping shape its next Local Transport Plan. 

The county’s policy on transport and infrastructure and delivering local transport improvements is designed to improve mobility and connectivity and sustain economic growth across the county.

The seven posts available comprise transport planners, project managers, and strategic planners, which, says the council will help to “build innovative, sophisticated, and multi-faceted infrastructure programmes”.
