Edinburgh opens online channel for reporting illegal parking

People in Edinburgh can now report illegally parked vehicles via the city council’s website.

A City of Edinburgh parking attendant will be sent to check and issue a parking ticket if the vehicle is incorrectly parked. The vehicle may be impounded if it is causing an obstruction to other vehicles and pedestrians.

However, people using the portal are advised attendants will not always be able to attend right away if they are busy elsewhere but will attend as soon as they are able.
