Church plans to build a car park in Salford

Multi-storey would serve congregation and raise revenue

The first part of the multi-million pound revamp of a Salford church on the edge of Manchester city centre will be a car park. The Audacious Church is planning three phases of work to expand its facilities at the Deva Centre business park off Trinity Way, starting with a seven-storey car park designed by David Cox Architects.

Salford City Council gave the green light to the evangelical church’s plans to create a “modern day cathedral” in 2017.
