The RMT wants face coverings to remain mandatory on public transport


A trade has warned of threat of violence to transport staff over what it regards as a "confused" approach by the UK government to face coverings on public transport.

Transport union RMT has warned that staff on services will be placed at danger of abuse and assault due to the botched, confused and inconsistent messaging over face coverings.
