Drivers have been issued with parking penalties after cars blocked roads at Scottish beauty spots.

Car parks at popular tourist spots like Loch Lomond and The Trossachs reached capacity early on Saturday 24 April as people were drawn to the countryside by good weather.

Police officers fined cars parked at the sides of the roads. The police were forced to close roads that had become unpassable due to parked cars.
